Daylily Care Tips

1. Select a site which is sunny to partial shade.
2. Amend the soil with peat, compost or well rotted manure to depth of 12”. (can be purchased at your local garden center.)
3. Space plants at an eye pleasing distance, based on available space.
4. Replace soil around roots.
5. Soak thoroughly with water to settle soil.
6. Mulch as necessary, but avoid the covering the crown (the very top)of the plant.
7. Fertilize in late winter, spring and fall. (Recommended 17-8-8 time release blend).
8. Avoid Fertilizer in summer.
9. Water, water as necessary.
